American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certification Class


The American Red Cross Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult course incorporates the 2016 ECC standards. It will help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses teach skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Students who successfully complete this course will receive certificates for Standard First Aid with CPR/AED - Adult, which are valid for two years. Registration costs also cover the cost of participant CPR Keychain with face shield and gloves.

Britta is a Clinical Professor in Exercise Physiology, as well as Associate Director of PEAK Health and Fitness at the University of Utah.  Her academic interests are fitness and well being, which she strives to achieve in her own life.  Britta loves running in the mountains as well as biking and building sand castles with her two little boys. Britta is an ACSM Health Fitness Specialist, holds her Schwinn Indoor Cycling Certification, and is BoneFit trained.
